How brands earn their stars
Each maker is rated out of 5 using five weighted criteria:
- Realism — face sculpt and skin finishing (30%)
- Build quality — mini love grade, skeleton and seams (25%)
- Value — price relative to comparable makers (20%)
- Seller safety — authorised-vendor programme and counterfeit risk (15%)
- Range and customisation (10%)
Where our facts come from
We use manufacturer specifications, authorised-seller information, buyer reports and reputable references, and we cite sources in our articles. Every page shows its last-updated date; we review guides at least quarterly and update figures when the market changes.
